From there, we create a treatment plan that feels personalized to you. Most visits last 45 minutes to 2 hours, and the first consultation usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
Acupuncture can be done at any time.

Pain medications may be taken as prescribed by your primary physician.
Between visits, take note of any changes that may have occurred, such as the alleviation of pain, pain moving to other areas, or changes in the frequency and type of problems.
If possible, a short rest after treatment is desirable, but not essential.
Some patients feel unusually relaxed and prefer to plan activities accordingly.
Strength exercise is not recommended immediately after treatment.
For painful conditions, avoid strenuous activity for at least 24 hours after treatment.

The number of acupuncture sessions varies for each person. Some feel relief after just one session, while others with complex or long-standing issues may need 1-2 sessions per week initially. Acute problems often require fewer visits. Many patients continue treatments to maintain overall well-being. We'll discuss a personalized treatment plan during your first visit.
Acupuncture is a natural, drug-free therapy that stimulates your body's self-healing abilities and enhances vitality. It can help with muscle, bone, and nerve pain, improve digestion, boost your immune system, and increase stamina. Acupuncture also promotes relaxation and reduces stress, making it a great choice for overall well-being. It's safe to use alongside conventional medicine and works well as a preventive treatment.
